Seriously though, it has been an incredible year for the Digger Blog, a year that was made even better recently when the site statistics for November 2012 were released. They revealed that the site attracted a record breaking 35,708 page views for that month! These stunning figures are all down to YOU the readers, many of whom have been following the blog from its early days over 4 years ago on the Contract Journal website, and the many new readers that have joined us at our new home within The Construction Index website. I would like to thank you all, readers, manufacturers, dealers and everyone involved in the plant and machinery world that have followed us and contributed material for inclusion on the blog. I will be heading off to sunnier climes for Christmas but I hope to post a blog or two while I am away internet permitting. In the meantime I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

Next year is shaping up to be yet another exciting one, with a number of things already in the pipeline. For starters we have Bauma in Munich during April to look forward too, and of course, a month later the inaugural Plantworx exhibition here in the UK. I look forward to bringing you a taste of the action from those event's and to your continued support in 2013.
