This incident took place in Waikato in New Zealand where a Terex AC 200-1 had been set up on a river bank to lift in the second beam of the new Huruhuru Cycleway Bridge. As you will see in the video, the ground starts to give way under the weight causing a large landslide with the inevitable consequences.

Quite why the banksman continued with the lift despite the looming evidence of a pending disaster is a mystery!
