Job Description
An international engineering and construction company is looking to hire a new Carbon Manger based in Birmingham. The company has set an ambitious sustainability roadmap for 2030, and they are looking to onboard an ambitious carbon management expert to help them to achieve this.
As Carbon Manger, you will be responsible for managing a team of carbon engineers who deliver carbon reduction strategies for clients in the construction sector. You will also be advising the business to achieve their carbon reduction targets by implementing sustainability best practise in the way they work.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Managing a team of Carbon Engineers.
- Identifying, and implementing carbon reduction measures.
- Managing a portfolio of Life Cycle Carbon Assessments.
- Attend site visits when required to review carbon management practices.
My client is looking for someone with construction experience, to implement carbon management systems onsite. You must have strong management and technical carbon management skills. This position is Birmingham based, and my client is offering a salary of £50,000 to £60,000, with a competitive benefits package.
