Contracts Manager

Daniel Owen is an established recruitment consultancy specialising in the placement of quality temporary and permanent workers to all roles in the Built Environment. We work with some of the UK's largest and most respected construction, maintenance and engineering companies.

Contracts manager responsibilities:

  • To implement compliance and best practice from pre-construction to on site delivery, monitoring, reviewing and managing improvement
  • Live management of project planning and processes across multiple sites
  • Work with all business department managers to implement effective company goal focused systems and processes
  • Asses training and coaching requirements of staff to facilitate the implementation and effectiveness of company systems, processes and personal development
  • Understand clients needs and help create alignment to company project delivery strategy
  • Manage the use of resources to maximise efficiency company turnover
  • Plan procurement and feedback on schedule issues to minimise unnecessary costs
  • Collaborate with Commercial team to identify project opportunity and risk and assist in the management of mitigation
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to aid future working opportunities while driving project revenue in conjunction with the Commercial team and business requirements

Contracts Manager requirements:

  • A relevant industry qualification in construction, management or leadership
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to train and mentor trainee staff
  • A team player with a collaborative working attitude
  • Drylining background/experience preferred
