BSL Student Support Worker

Job Description

Protocol are currently working with a well-established College in the West Midlands to source a Level 6 Qualified BSL Student Support Worker to join them on a temporary contract for the full academic year! They offer a wide range of courses taught by award-winning, industry experienced professional tutors. The College are ambitious in what they do and pride themselves in assisting you in the best way possible throughout your career.

* Taking the individuals needs & preferences into account, you will be supporting their progress through their Motor Vehicle qualification by providing efficient & comprehensive translation

* The student has specifically requested a Male interpreter to assist in their studies
* You must be qualified in British Sign Language at Level 6 or above
* You must have experience supporting a student in their studies & interpreting for them
* Knowledge within Motor Vehicle or Engineering is desirable but not essential
* Your DBS must be on the update service or dated within the previous 12 months through Protocol with no employment gaps larger than 3 months
