Job Description
Summary
Apprentice week has begun and Gleeson are recruiting multiple joiner apprentices' to join our passionate, collaborative and respectful teams out on site. Reporting directly to the Site Manager you will be carrying out general carpentry and joinery duties on all stages of the construction of Gleeson developments.

Main Responsibilities
- Working as part of a team of joiners on all stages of construction
- Work is often at height on scaffolding, therefore you need to be 'good with heights'
- Undertaking snagging and remedials
- Maintaining of tools and materials
- Being an effective part of the site team
- Committed and hardworking, as at times the work can be physically demanding
- One day per week at a local College to obtain am Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery
Working Hours:
- 39 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm
- Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm
- One day per week or block release at a local College to obtain am Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery
Ideal Candidate
- Enjoys outdoor working
- Physically capable
- Must have a minimum Grade 4 / C GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English
- Prepared to travel to site
- Access to own transport (desirable)
