Architect Job in Manchester
Architect job in Manchester with an employee-owned company specialising in heritage and conservation works across the UK and globally, this is a hybrid position with flexible hours!
Our client was founded in the 1940s and has grown to over 300 people across 11 UK offices. In this time, they have established themselves as an industry leader in planning advice, heritage consultancy, building surveying, conservation, and contemporary architecture.
Working with public bodies, charities, trusts, private companies, contractors, developers, and individuals, this practice has been involved in the care and development of some of the best-loved buildings and places in the UK and abroad. The practice provides sensitive restoration and repair schemes and modern design in historic contexts. Their bold and contemporary designs are spread across a variety of sectors including cultural, master planning, education, ecclesiastical, public, hospitality, residential, and many more.
Role & Responsibilities
- Effectively work within a team reporting to Seniors and Associates
- Using your strong design skills in BIM/ Revit
- Work across all RIBA stages
- Produce technical detailing packages and deliver them to the site
- Liaise with clients and manage queries and problems as and when they come up
- Use your knowledge of UK building and planning regulations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Part III qualified with at least 3 years post qualification experience in a UK practice
- Demonstrate good client-facing communication skills
- Previous experience working on conservation projects is desirable
- Proficiency AutoCAD and Revit software is essential
- Have a strong understanding of UK Building and Planning regulations
- Proven experience working on all RIBA stages.
