Job Description
Our major aerospace client is looking to recruit on a 3 month contract basis a CNC Programmer.
CNC Programmer Capabilities:
You will be highly proficient writing off-line 3-axis milling programmes using Delcam Powermill and Powershape (2018 and 2019), to enable:
* Importing of geometry
* Modelling of supports/fixtures
* Establishing tooling and clamping sequences
* Creating optimum cutter paths
* Determining optimal speeds and feeds
* Posting programs to vertical milling machines
* Extension of geometry lines
You will also be fully conversant with Heidenhain on-machine control software
Desirable:
Able to write programmes for 5-axis milling
