Sales Manager - Timber Engineering
Salary Basic to £40,000 + Bonus + Car
South East - Cambridge, Bedford, Luton, Chelmsford, London, Reading, Guildford, Maidstone, Crawley, Horsham, Banbury, Northampton

We have been working with a major supplier of Engineered Wood Products for over five years now; they take great pride in their leading position in the UK's marketplace to find candidates who can sell their Timber Engineering services to Regional Housebuilders, Developers and Builders Merchants. Having placed a number of successful candidates with this company they are now looking for a Sales Manager to join their team in the South East of England.

The Role:

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly organised and disciplined sales individual who has some exposure of sales within a Timber or Builder's merchant environment. Key to the role is the understanding of how a timber or builder's merchant functions.

The key performance areas of this role will involve:
- Building and maintaining key accounts and customers
- Making both office and site-based visits to customers
- Providing effective commercial solutions to customers backed with technical knowledge (full training given)
- Providing support and advice to customers and the production team whilst ensuring total customer satisfaction

Skills required:
- A sales track record to Builders / Contractors
- Excellent numerical skills
- Systematic and methodical with a good attention to detail
- Strives to continuously improve performance
- An effective communicator
