Roof Truss Designer
Bedfordshire
£25-35,000 depending on experience
Full time, permanent

We are working with a market leading supplier of Roof Trusses, Joists, I-beams and other engineered wood products who are growing both organically and through carefully-targeted acquisition, part of a larger organisation. They have locations UK-wide, and pride themselves on providing a range of quality products to the construction industry.

They now seek a capable and enthusiastic Designer to join their team in the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire area

The role:
Your role will include close liaison with customers, responding to technical queries, producing accurate quotations and designs using the latest industry specialist software. You will also have strong links with the production team to ensure they are provided with the relevant information for manufacturing.

We want to speak with you if you have:

• Prior experience in designing roof trusses or joists
• Good working knowledge of specialist design software, ideally MiTek
• Excellent commitment to detail and accuracy with excellent communication and project management skills, ideally with customers such as housebuilders, building contractors etc.
• Sufficient experience to be able to work with minimum supervision
