Job Description
Job Title: Estimator
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Sector: Timber Frame Construction
- Are you an experienced construction estimator who would enjoy taking the lead on estimating for this timber frame manufacturer?
You will be joining an existing team with a view to taking the lead on estimating supply and install timber frame projects up to £1.5M. Working closely with an experienced estimator who is soon to retire, you can expect a good handover of work and on boarding process to bring you up to speed with systems and process. Your existing estimating skills will allow you to hit the ground running, getting up to speed quickly and soon taking the lead in this function.
With an annual turnover of over £10M and interested across timber frame, flooring and the merchant sector, this employer can offer strong future opportunities to ambitious candidates with the chance to grow and manage a design and estimating team.

Skills and Experience:
- CAD and Excel Skills
- The ability to read from drawings to perform take offs
- At least three years estimating experience of structural new build works
- Timber frame experience is advantageous, not essential
- A team player who will go the extra mile in a hardworking team
