This opportunity offers the chance to work for a world renowned business which specialise in the construction of utility scale solar projects, leading their new operation in Italy as the Country Manager.
The company are already established on multiple continents with over 2GW of solar energy generation sites. This industry leading company has now rapidly started to expand throughout Europe with projects throughout Greece, Italy, Spain, UK to name a few. This client has now got the opportunity for an ambitious person to join their team and have the chance to come in the head of Operations for Italy and spearhead this area of the business.
This opportunity offers a unique position to help direct a global renewable energy construction company into new markets allowing the freedom to help shape the company's future within the UK. This role will allow you to expand your knowledge and grow your passion within solar, whilst also working with one of the most exciting developers of solar projects in the world!
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically develop and communicate the companies goals
- Nationally develop construction plans and strategies
- Manage, plan and execute utility scale projects nationally
- Use market insights to inform strategic decisions and business development efforts
- Based in Greece with occasional travel to Italy (3-4 days per month)
Background Required
- Experience leading solar construction projects in all aspects
- Technical and / or commercial background
- Italian speaking will be beneficial
- Degree qualified engineer or relevant experience
