Head of Asset Management - London

Working for a Rail operator based in London, managing their assets, from day-to-day maintenance through to asset replacement schemes.

Location: - London

Salary: - £90,000 - £95,000 basic + Travel + Package

Role:

The Resolute Group has been retained to identify a Head of Asset Management professional to manage the Assets for a Rail organisation based in London. Leading a team of Asset Engineers covering your Rail assets across the region.

For this position you don't need Rail experience, this role would suit someone used to managing Assets in a safety critical environment, such as:

• Rail
• Highways
• Water
• Aviation
• Gas
• Power

Any sector where your Assets are required 24/7 and as such, they need to be operational at all times to meet the demands of the customer.

Your key accountabilities could include:

Monitor the asset management plans to confirm that they are meeting the required standards and deliver the required regulatory outputs.

• Agree on maintenance activities and shutdowns with the Engineering teams.
• Work with the Project teams when business cases need to be created for asset replacement. This could be for broken or life span replacement assets.
• Provide professional engineering and asset management leadership and manage the provision of a comprehensive asset management maintenance service.
• Lead the development of asset data specification, asset management system requirements, and governance standards for both internal and external standards required in the Rail sector.
• Lead the asset management framework, including the Strategic Asset Management Plan in accordance with ISO 55000 requirements.

Experience and Qualifications:

You need to be an Engineer be it Apprenticed trained or Degree qualified. It could be Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering etc…

Experience in leading an Asset Management programme for a client as a direct employee not a consultant. Used to managing a team undertaking asset maintenance, managing a project for asset upgrades, managing your budget for the asset maintenance team etc...
