This organisation enjoys a status as one of the Times 100 Best Companies within their sector as well as Investors in People (Gold accredited) They are at the beginning of an exciting journey, which could see them at the forefront of supplying a truly innovative building system to fulfil the ambitious housebuilding targets set by Government. Having secured initial projects within their region, they are now recruiting a team to ensure the timescales are met in line with delivery schedule.

Factory currently operates on a single shift but will move to a rotating 2 shift (shift 1 6am-2pm, shift 2 2pm-10pm five day weeks) pattern in from April 2019.

They now seek two Production Team Leaders, for the factory shop floor, responsible for assisting the daily production needs of the shop floor by maintaining a first line of Supervision. You will solve production queries and supervise and motivate your team to meet production targets. To do this you will ensure that the production line is adequately resourced engaging with personnel throughout the working day. An important part of your role will be ensuring health and safety awareness to ensure company policies are maintained, as well as ensuring Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to. You will also monitor and ensure quality standards are upheld and drive Right First Time mindsets. Working in collaboration with other departments you will be pivotal in maintaining work flow and efficiency of the operation.

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • a minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing / construction business
  • excellent positive communication skills
  • ability to lead a team with mixed skill and mind sets
  • a keen eye for detail and ability to adapt to a busy factory environment and accurately follow written procedures.
