Permanent role based in Leicester, commutable from Melton Mowbray, Thurmaston, Loughborough and surrounding areas.

Interviewing immediately

Daytime hours 37.5 hours

Mon - Fri 0600 - 1400

or 1400 - 2200 rotating

Paying up to £30K

Unlimited overtime available and paid at a premium

Welding Supervisor Job Description

Description

As a Production Supervisor you will work closely as part of the manufacturing team and report to the production manager

The main role and responsibilities of a Production Supervisor, but are not limited to, the following:

● Overseeing the production including the laser cutting and punching machines

● Allocating work to employees, setting production targets and communicating precise instructions

● Manage a multi-disciplinary team of 10 full time employees

● Reported weekly status of builds to company Management

● Conduct employee meetings

● Ensures that all employees work in a safe manner, in a safe environment

● Responsible for handling customer complaints and initiating corrective action
