Technical Support Advisor (Ref: 10108)

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Advisor to assist our ReadyMix concrete technical and sales function in the northern region. About the role You will operate a customer technical specification vetting and contract review process to ensure that the company offer the most cost-efficient concretes, do not become exposed to unacceptable technical risk and that product conformity requirements are satisfied in a timely manner. Other elements to the role include: Proactively provides technical support to commercial / operational staff in the use and application of the company’s products Actively promotes the company’s performance products and assist commercial teams to convert customer projects to these products Creation of SRMX mix descriptions in E1 and adapt existing mix designs to meet specific customer requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant BS & EN standards for concrete Report and issue plant RMX KPI’s on a monthly basis and attend regional technical meeting Participation in QSRMC assessments Maintain his / her knowledge of concrete technology and specifications by study and attending relevant industry training events, seminars, CPD’s and other industry technical meetings Maintaining compliance of technical records (eg SRMX, yield checks, alkali & chloride checks) What will you bring? Experience working within Cement, ReadyMix, Precast, Bricks or closely related area in a similar role is desirable Be able to operate in line with safety, health, environment and quality procedures and legislation, our brand values, competition law compliance and other business processes and procedures Ability to communicate and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and customers Be able to demonstrate flexibility to adapt and respond to change ​What’s on offer?
