Production Manager - Modular Building Manufacturing
Mid Wales
Salary £50,000 - £60,000

This long established manufacturer has received investment and management from a highly experienced offsite professional and large developer. As a result they are on a major modular housing framework as well having potential internal work from their developer owner. The potential for growth and development is excellent and the business has the investment and systems being developed to take full advantage. They work in a range of markets with a keen interest in modular housing. They have the flexibility to manufacture volumetric modules in steel, light steel or timber, so you need the ability to be able to build with a number of materials and to efficiently run different systems through the factory on a project by project basis - sometimes bespoke, others more repeat.

The Role:
- You will lead the manufacturing function within budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards. You will be given full accountability for ensuring safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- You will take on responsibility for developing an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible team by building working relationships ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
- Drive to implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:
- Relevant Construction/ manufacturing degree is preferred, or HND or similar
- Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Kaizen, lean manufacturing
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualification and understanding of ISO 9001 & 14001 2015
