To build on our success we are currently seeking Junior/Assistant Quantity Surveyors.

The role of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor is to contribute and play an active part in the various commercial processes associated with the building process and in conformity with company procedures as laid down from time to time.

Projects:

We have several projects that we will be recruiting for, a mix of both live and new projects.

All project swill be in London and will be commutable by public transport.

The projects we have a re new build RC Frame Social/Private housing, High End Residential Fit Outs, High end hotel fit outs.

Any Grade Listed or Heritage experience, would be a great bonus.

Main Responsibilities:

• Subject to the approval of the Project Surveyor receive and make payments in respect of interim and final account applications from Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers in accordance with Company contractual arrangements.
• contribute to the delivery of all confirmed project tasks and goals.
• assist in the preparation of Orders with Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers.
• prepare and co-ordinate labour only payments.
• maintain accurate records.
• carry out take-off, measurement, scheduling exercises and prepare bills of quantities for the procurement and sub-letting processes.

We're Looking For:

• BSc in Quantity Surveying
• Excellent knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract (NEC & JCT) and Standard Methods of Measurement.
• Commercial knowledge
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Construction industry
• Knowledge of Building Regulations (including Part B)
• Knowledge of NHBC Standards
