Chartered Quantity Surveyor job in South East London / Hybrid Working
Chartered Quantity Surveyor job in South East London for a growing multidisciplinary consultancy based in London, working on residential, education and commercial projects in London and the South East. The role offers a salary of £50,000 - £75,000 + Hybrid Working + 25 Days Holiday + Healthcare.
As a multidisciplinary consultancy they offer services across architecture, design management, building surveying, quantity surveying, project management and asset management. They provide a clear progression route as well as offering continual training and support. To be considered for the role you should have some experience within the new build residential sector, consultancy background and you must be MRICS. The role will be working on projects in predominantly London, Kent, Sussex, Essex from feasibility to final accounts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Managing complex schemes from inception to completion including cost control, planning, forecasting, estimation and agreement of the final account
- On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
- Feasibility studies and early-stage cost advice and cost management
- Reporting on the financial position of projects to clients
- Contract Administration and Employers Agent roles
- Procuring and tendering of work to contractors
- Analysing completed work and arranging payment to contractors
- Site visits, assessments and projections for future work
- Writing reports and preparing documents; plans, contracts and budgets
- Preparing and producing specifications for works, tender and contract documents
- Risk Analysis and evaluations.
Required Skills & Experience
- MRICS is essential
- Pre-contract to final accounts
- Experience in residential new build and complex refurb projects
- Consultancy background
- Driving Licence and own car.
