Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
* To ensure the yard is maintained at an acceptable standard ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety legislations.
* To segregate and recover recyclable products.
* To assist Stores and collect / deliver materials as and when required
KEY RESULT AREAS/RESPONSIBILITIES
* To assist with the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing deliveries an FLT Licence would be an advantage
* Make sure all delivery notes are signed and received in the same day.
* To assist in the stores areas as and when required
* To segregate all waste products for recycling, ensuring there is no cross contamination of different product types.
* To ensure that all storage areas are continuously kept clear of debris and is clean and tidy.
* To ensure health and safety compliance is always adhered, including wearing the appropriate PPE and reporting any issues with equipment to the branch or H&S manager.
* To adopt a flexible approach according to the needs and resources of the factory and undertake all other duties as requested by any senior member of staff.
* Generally, keep warehouse clean & tidy
