Senior / Principal Sustainability and Social Value Consultant

Job Description

An international and independent engineering consultancy, who are carbon neutral, is looking for Senior and Principal Sustainability Consultants to join their established team. They aim to deliver sustainable and innovative design and engineering projects for a range of sectors across the built environment.

With the sustainability team at the forefront of this organisation, you'd be part of a leading team within the global business.

You'll have the opportunity to work flexibly from the London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester or Newcastle office.

About the role:

Working in a multi-disciplinary team, you'll work on a range of sustainable design projects in the UK and internationally.

• Develop, analyse and report sustainability-related projects.
• Act in an output-orientated setting, presenting to clients to grow the service discipline
• Support in Sustainability rating tools
• Provide Health and Wellbeing advice
• Develop sustainability strategies with clients
• Support the social value service
• Develop individualised sustainability frameworks.

About you:

• Be educated to a degree level in a related field [Built Innovation, Engineering, Sustainability Development].
• Explicit experience in environmental rating tools, i.e. BREEAM, LEED, WELL, SKA, HQM, Reset
• Have demonstrable environmental construction experience in pre-assessments to post-assessments.
• Ability to multi-task multiple projects, ensuring completion to a high standard
• Passion for furthering the sustainability agenda
• Strong analytical skills
• Innovative thinker
