Construction Worker - Polish Speaking

Job Description

The Company and the Role: The Company is a global temporary facility provider, and integrated FM and logistics provider. They operate in a number of environments but within the UK their work tends to focus on providing support services to large engineering and construction projects. They have just won a contract to establish a services compound which will include building a number of temporary buildings, including Offices, Canteens, Welfare facilities, Medical room, Warehouses and a Training facility, in support of a major engineering and construction project occurring in the waterside area just outside Southampton. The project is scheduled to start in Mid-August. Phase 1 of the building work will end in early November. Phase 2 construction will then commence and carry on until March 2020. The Company is seeking an experienced construction worker who can read and speak English and Polish who is willing to take on the responsibility for mentoring other Polish Workers working on the same contract. The role is available immediately and will run through until at least mid-November. There is every prospect the role will continue until the end of March 2020. Your trade is not as important as your language skills. In other words, you could be a Ground Worker, a Concrete Worker, Fitter or a Supervisor. Knowledge and Skills Required: Candidates must be Fluent speakers in Polish and English and be able to read English and Polish. You must be accomplished in a specific trade. What’s on Offer? Competitive rates of pay will be offered for all roles. Most of the roles will be a minimum of 3-4 months and some will be up to 9 months duration.
