Lecturer in Fabrication & Welding

Job Description

Protocol are working with an excellent college based in Lincoln to recruit a full time, permanent Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering specialising in Fabrication & Welding. This college has an enhanced support package for non-teacher qualified applicants and actively encourage those who want to move from industry into teaching.

The role

Teaching at Levels 2 and 3 covering Fabrication & Welding modules, plus other engineering skills such as fitting, machining and maintenance. You will help learners progress in their careers, encourage employability skills and support them in their development.

The Person and Qualifications

L3 Mechanical Engineering/Fabrication & Welding or similar qualification
OR equivalent teaching experience
Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain (supported by college)
Passion for your subject area
