Job Description

We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for motivated, learner- centered and outstanding Technical Trainer-Engineering The successful applicant will deliver practical sessions to students working within the specialist engineering/computing spaces and workshops under the general guidance of IOT Industry Innovation Manager and direction of the Technical Lead. It is essential that the post holder has an understanding and some experience of all forms of engineering but must have a specialism in one of the following areas; Electric Power Technology Process Automation Industry 4.0 Robotics Electricity and Electronics Environment and Renewable Energies. Other specialisms in related field will be considered. This is a supportive role to assist lecturers and to supervise student training. This role is to provide technical and industry expertise within the East London Institute of Technology (ELIOT) using Industry standard equipment to prepare students for employment. We also expect creative and academic research to from part of this role alongside linking with industry to ensure we are at the cutting edge of teaching, learning and assessment.
