A construction worker has been injured in a fall on the Olympic Village site in Stratford, east London.
The scaffolder, who was working on one of the 11 blocks in the athletes' village, broke his arm in the accident on Friday.
Bovis Lend Lease is main contractor for the Olympic Village project.
A spokesman for the Olympic Delivery Authority said: “At approximately 10am on Friday morning a scaffolder working on the Olympic Village site fell a short distance, sustaining a suspected broken arm.
“The on-site medical team attended immediately, quickly followed by the ambulance service who have driven the worker to hospital for further treatment. The incident is being thoroughly looked into to ensure the high safety record we have achieved across the site so far is maintained.”
