Administrators called in at Graham Wood Structural

13 Feb 14 West Sussex-based steelwork company Graham Wood Structural has gone into administration.

The company, which is a member of the SIAC Construction Group, works on all forms of structural steelwork for new build projects and refurbishments. It designs and builds offices and industrial units and fabricates steelwork including portals, heavy industrial plant structures, tubular steelwork and architectural metalwork.

Its workshop and fabrication unit can produce 12,000t of fabricated steel per year. As well as fabricating the steel, it directly employs its own teams of steel erectors and site engineers. Contractors it has worked with include Costain, HBG, ISG Kier, Warings, Wates, and Willmott Dixon.

The administrators are Ian Corfield and James Stares of Grant Thornton’s office in Finsbury Square, London.
