The development, designed by Rolfe Judd Architecture, will also include as 30,000 sq ft of commercial premises for a range of uses, including offices, day centres and leisure.
Plans to develop the 2.9-acre former Arklow Road Trading Estate have been presented to Lewisham Council for approval.
Anthology executive director Adam Gaymer said: “We have been working collaboratively with local residents and the council for the past 12 months, evolving and refining plans to maximise the potential of this vacant site to make a vital contribution to the local neighbourhood.
“Now we’ve reached the stage where we can submit our vision to Lewisham Council in order to provide high quality new homes, deliver extra jobs, boost the local economy and enhance the public area. At the moment this site is disused and unloved. We want to seize the opportunity to realise the potential of this land; to enhance the existing community by becoming a thriving new neighbourhood where people live, work and play.”
