The framework is broke down into a northern and a southern panel, with nine contractors on each. Seven contractors appear on both lists.

The new framework replaces the contractors' framework that was launched in November 2009, that itself replaced the 2007 Partnerships for Schools national framework.
The previous list had 12 contractors for each of the two regions.

Today’s news demonstrates the EFA’s commitment to addressing the shortage in high-quality facilities and school places, which will be crucial in providing the best possible educational outcomes for the greatest number of schoolchildren.
“We look forward to supporting the EFA in the next stage of the Priority Schools Building Programme as we move into 2014."
