Wates seeks local suppliers for MoJ job

19 Aug 14 Wates Construction is holding a ‘meet the buyer’ event to build up a supply chain for its £85m Ministry of Justice Secure College project in Leicester.

The event will be held at the Hilton Leicester Hotel on Thursday 4th September, 8am to 4pm.

Project representatives from Wates will discuss the new development and give details on how suppliers and subcontractors can become part of the local supply chain.

Work on the new Secure College is expected to begin next year, with completion scheduled for 2017.

Regional managing director Phil Harrison said: “We have an established supply chain in the East Midlands that we are now looking to expand upon and we welcome those interested to attend our meet the buyer event in Blaby.”
