The 3 Wellington Place development will have 110,000 sq ft of office space across five floors. There will also be a restaurant at ground floor level. The project is designed to be energy-efficient and is targeting an ‘excellent’ BREEAM rating.
The development is funded by a joint venture between Hermes Investment Management and CPPIB, which invests on behalf of 19 million Canada Pension Plan contributors and beneficiaries.
The start on site at 3 Wellington Place follows the recent completion of two other buildings in the development. Once completed, the overall Wellington Place scheme will have have a total of 1.5 million sq ft of commercial, retail, leisure and residential space.
