This year’s show has taken on even more significance following the demise of the SED 2011 show and with over 100 exhibitors taking up space, it promises to be a cracker. Ammann Equipment Ltd have been regulars at this event, which is now in its 5th year. The company will be presenting models from its compaction range, mini excavators and a line up of Cormidi tracked dumpers.
One of the newest products is the ACR60 trench rammer, which is a lighter version of the new ACR68, which will also be on display. Both these machines use the well proven Honda 4 stroke engine which eliminates the need to mix fuel.
Also on display from the compaction range, will be the Ammann AV12-2 (820mm) tandem ride on roller. This machine is described as “clear sided” on one side, which allows the operator to compact up against walls and street furniture.
The smallest excavator in the Ammann Yanmar range will also be on show, in the form of the SV08-1S micro excavator. This machine is equipped with an extending/retractable undercarriage (680mm-840mm} and has an operating weight of 1035kg, with a digging depth of 1500mm this machine is extremely popular with small builders and landscape contractors alike. This machine is small enough to get through a narrow doorway or gate but heavy enough to perform some serious digging.
Other mini excavators on display, will be the 1740kg Vio17 and the Vio25, a 2800kg zero tailswing models, both machines will be displayed with examples from the Ammann Ramfos hydraulic breaker range which are available to fit machines from 1.5 ton to 100 tons.
Cormidi tracked dumpers will also have a big presence on the stand with all the current models on display and at time of publishing the possibility of the New C6.60 model.
Visitors can also look forward to a brand new product launch, something which is not currently offered by either Ammann or Yanmar so exciting stuff!
The Digger blog will be at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry to report on the show which takes place on the 9th and 10th February.
