In this clip from an October 1993 episode, Tom takes to the controls of a new Caterpillar 428B 4x4, which featured the latest style backhoe boom. The machine was delivered straight to the television studios from Cat’s UK manufacturing plant in Desford, Leicester, Tom put the machine to work in a challenge on the show playing a large version of the popular ship deck game of shuffleboard.

I would love to see this kind of show back on television on Saturday nights. Simply not enough diggers on TV these days!
