This rare Inchgreen IG-5 machine, has been lovingly restored to its former glory by a team from FP McCann, who are one of Northern Irelands leading construction companies. They were assisted in the restoration by none other than Julian Carder, who is JCB’s backhoe-loader worldwide product marketing manager and a well known classic plant enthusiast, who is also a member of the Classic Machinery Network forum. The machine, which is a staggering 50 years old, is currently featured in top plant & machinery magazine Earthmovers, so I won’t bog you down with any details, simply enjoy this video of the “old girl” climbing aboard a low loader in front of the Parliament building in Stormont, Belfast.
