Maintenance Electrician
Location: Wakefield Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent Industry: Facilities Management
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management provider in Wakefield.
Working as part of an established maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering planned, reactive and lifecycle maintenance across the contract. Electrical maintenance will be your core trade, although you may also be required to assist with other general maintenance tasks within your level of competence.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
Electrical fault finding, repairs and installation work
Maintain electrical distribution and lighting systems
Complete maintenance records and NICEIC documentation
Update jobs using PDA/tablet-based FM systems
Ensure work is completed safely and within contractual timescales
Support other members of the maintenance team when required
Participate in the on-call rota
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent
18th Edition
C&G 2391 or equivalent
AM2 / AM2S
Current IPAF / MEWP licence
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Previous maintenance experience within an FM environment
Experience with electrical distribution, lighting and fault finding
Full UK Driving Licence
