Handyman with BPSS

Job Type: Full-time / Temporary

Pay: (depending on experience)

Applicants must hold valid BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance or be willing to undergo the BPSS vetting process.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carrying out general maintenance and repair work.
• Basic plumbing and minor electrical maintenance (where suitably qualified).
• Painting, decorating and touch-up work.
• Basic carpentry and joinery.
• Assembling furniture and fitting fixtures.
• Carrying out general building repairs.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements

• Valid BPSS clearance or willingness to obtain it.
• Good practical and problem-solving skills.
• CSCS card preferred (where required).
• Own tools preferred.
• Good timekeeping and communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
