Are you a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Engineer or Field Service Engineer looking for a site-based role with no regular travel or working out in the field? This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturer offering a position with full training and the opportunity to develop into a multi-skilled engineer.
The company is looking for someone with a mechanical background who is keen to eventually develop their electrical skills and broaden their technical knowledge. Work in a niche industry where you will benefit from a supportive working environment, ongoing development and the opportunity to progress your skills over time.
Your Role As A Mechanical Fitter will include:
- Carrying out mechanical assembly, servicing and maintenance of specialist equipment.
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs.
- Developing electrical fault-finding skills through full training.
- Niche industry
The Successful Mechanical Fitter Will Have:
- A mechanical background, ideally involving pneumatics and able to read diagrams
- Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Engineer or Service Engineer.
- An interest in developing electrical fault-finding skills.
- Commutable to Sheffield.
