We are currently recruiting for Plumbers and Heating Engineers to join a growing team of Clean Energy Technicians.

Positions are available in St Albans, Watford, Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Kettering. Please apply if you are based in or able to commute to one of these locations.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced plumber or heating engineer looking to develop their career in the renewable energy sector. Previous heat pump experience is not required, as full training will be provided.

About the Role You'll work alongside experienced, qualified heat pump installers to help deliver high-quality installations safely and efficiently.

You'll receive training through the Aira Academy and have the opportunity to develop your skills and progress towards becoming a Heat Pump Installer.

Key Responsibilities

Work as part of a team to install heat pumps, cylinders and radiators
Install and connect heating systems, radiators, cylinders and pipework
Follow schematic diagrams and installation plans
Work alongside experienced heat pump installers
Complete installations safely and to a high standard
Follow all relevant Health & Safety procedures
Work closely with designers and other members of the installation team
Attend training and develop your knowledge of heat pump technology
Provide a professional service to customers in their homes

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent
Experience installing radiators, cylinders and pipework
Good practical plumbing and heating experience
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to learn and develop within the renewable energy sector
Good communication skills and a professional approach
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Comfortable working in customers' homes

Desirable Qualifications The following would be beneficial but are not essential:

NVQ Level 3 Plumbing or equivalent
WRAS / Water Regulations qualification
Unvented Hot Water Systems (Part G)
Gas qualifications
Previous heat pump or renewable energy experience

Previous heat pump experience is not required. Full Air Source Heat Pump training will be provided.
