Level: Experienced & Graduate Candidates Considered MSS Infrastructure are currently looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team, based within the Midlands with travel required to various projects. The role will focus on ground investigation works across civils and rail projects. We are open to applications from experienced engineers as well as graduate-level candidates with the relevant degree and a strong interest in developing their career. For the right candidate, we can support the development of rail experience and relevant Sentinel/rail qualifications.
About the Role
You will support ground investigation and geotechnical activities across a range of major infrastructure projects, working alongside engineers and site teams to ensure investigations are completed safely, accurately and efficiently. The role offers 50-60 hours per week, with regular travel from the Midlands to project locations. This is initially a temporary position, with ongoing long-term work available for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities

Rail Training & Development
Candidates without previous rail experience will be considered. For the successful candidate, MSS Infrastructure can support relevant rail training and development, including progression towards a Sentinel card, subject to project requirements. This is a great opportunity for a graduate or experienced civils/geotechnical engineer to build experience across ground investigation, civil engineering and rail infrastructure.What We Offer
