Senior Building Surveyor

Job Description

Dove & Hawk have partnered with a leading firm of Chartered Surveyors with reach across the UK. They are in the process of hiring an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to assist the London Director with the workload they are dealing with across a portfolio of Office, Retail and Industrial work. This role would suit someone Chartered with 2+ years PQE working within the London market in return for stability no matter the market and upward career progression within the business.

Duties/Functions of the role:

• Conducting building surveys and site inspections across the portfolio of work.
• Producing condition reports, defect surveys and schedules for Planned Preventative Maintenance.
• Creating strong client relationships through client meetings.
• Preparation of Schedules of Work and Specifications for all types of maintenance and construction projects.
• Managing contractors & sub-consultants as well as monitoring and reporting their progress.
• Delivery of contract administration services.
• Carrying out condition and asset management surveys.
• Assisting the project management team in the delivery of projects.

Requirements of the role:

• MRICS Certification.
• At least 2+ years PQE within Commercial Building Surveying.
• A proven track record in dealing with a mixed portfolio of work (office, retail, industrial, education).
• Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal).

Salary Budgets: £60-65,000 Per Annum, Car Allowance plus Benefits

Required working hours: 9am-5:30pm (Hybrid working)
