Senior Quantity Surveyor - Freelance
£500 - £600 per day | Outside IR35
London / East London

A major infrastructure project in East London is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a freelance basis.

You'll be working on a significant depot project, taking responsibility for the commercial management of key packages and working alongside the Project and Commercial teams.

Responsibilities:

Commercial management of allocated packages

Subcontract management and procurement

Applications, valuations and payment processes

Change management, variations and commercial reporting

Cost forecasting and CVRs

Final accounts

Contractual correspondence and notices

Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities

Working closely with delivery teams to maximise project performance

We're looking for:

Experienced Senior QS with a strong infrastructure / civils background

Strong NEC experience

Previous experience managing substantial packages

Confident with forecasting, change and subcontract management

Strong commercial and contractual understanding

Someone who can hit the ground running on a major project

Rate: £500 - £600 per day
Outside IR35
