Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 plus benefits
- Are you an experienced Construction Estimator with a passion for high end projects?
We are working with a manufacturer of high-quality bespoke oak frame buildings who are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team based in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.
You will be playing a key role in the business, reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with your colleagues in the construction team and having extensive client contact, helping them build their dream home.
This Estimating role is key to the significant development and improvement strategy of this innovative and growing oak frame manufacturing business. You will be given scope to use and develop your skills in estimating and further your career with a professional and successful company in the construction sector.
Our client is not only interested in candidates with solid experience as an Estimator from an organisation that manufactures and supplies timber frame, SIPS, light gauge steel, modular or similar buildings but they will favourably consider candidates from a general construction background. As the business supplies a range of offsite manufactured building systems for commercial and residential projects (including self-build bespoke) there is an excellent opportunity to become involved in the commercial aspects of some very exciting projects working at the forefront of oak frame technology.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience as an Estimator from either timber frame, SIPS, other fast track building systems supplier or general construction
- Excellent commercial skills (estimating, cost calculations, Bill of Materials )
- Construction qualification or equivalent experience within offsite construction
- Ability to work largely unsupervised
