Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Redruth / Bodmin
- Hybrid Working
- Permanent Position
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction business delivering refurbishment and new build projects valued up to £5 million.
Requirements
- HNC, Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction
- Experience in Quantity Surveying and Estimating within refurbishment and new build sectors
- Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
- Experience managing project financials, CVRs and forecasting
- Excellent Excel and IT skills
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
Key Responsibilities
- Producing tenders, estimates and Bills of Quantities
- Managing project costs, CVRs and financial forecasting
- Coordinating bids and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Negotiating supply chain and subcontractor pricing
- Managing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business growth and commercial success
- Maintaining high Health, Safety and Environmental standards
