Venture Contracts Limited are working with a reputable groundworks and civils contractor based near Milton Keynes who are currently recruiting an Intermediary Estimator to join their team. Our client is known for their high standards of work and professionalism, working closely with many of the UK's leading main contractors and house builders.
Role Description
The Intermediary Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to estimating project costs and specifications, conducting site visits, evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals, and preparing accurate estimates for construction projects.
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools
- Knowledge of construction materials & methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred
- Relevant degree or certification in construction or related field is a plus
Salary
£40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience.
