Job Description
Job title: Site Manager Salary: £25 per hour PAYE (DOE) Location: North London Repairs & Maintenance Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a leading Social Housing Contractor in the London area that are looking for a Site Manager to join their team on a temp basis for a minimum of 5 months. Responsibilities: As a Site Manager on this project, you will be a vital member of the team, and will work with your colleagues and the client to:- Post Inspect completed works and identify any issues or snagging
- Spot Inspect contractors carrying out works and address any issues on site
- Attend properties to identify scope of works required alongside building surveyor to ensure they are in line with the companies matrix
- To produce a specification of works following a joint visit regarding works required in a timely fashion
- To liaise with tenants, leaseholders and freeholders
- To provide advice as and when required to the Repairs Team.
The experience/qualifications required:
- Previous experience in social housing
- Able to manage and inspect contractors carrying out works
- A trade qualification is preferred
- Be able to produce specifications of works using SOR Codes version 6
- SMSTS or equivalent.
- H&S qualifications like first aid, asbestos awareness, working at heights.
