Apollo has been awarded a £16m refurbishment and maintenance contract for Herefordshire Housing.
The deal with the housing association will run for five years, with the possibility of extending for a further five.
The first year of the contract will involve roofing renewals plus kitchen and bathroom replacement work to 155 properties, boiler replacements to 250 homes, and the installation of 150 new heating systems.
Employees from the previous contract have been transferred across to Apollo, and the contractor has also pledged to establish local supply chain links.
Herefordshire Housing has looked after 5,300 homes since a stock transfer from the county council's housing department in 2002.
