DORMA has appointed David Mason as General Manager of their Falkirk Regional Office, taking on responsibility for all aspects of service and installation operations in Scotland. Previously, the Scottish region operated out of the Northern Regional Office in Jarrow, but continued expansion in Scotland has made it a natural progression to establish it as a service operation in its own right.
David has been with DORMA for twelve years, initially working as the Service Division’s Sales Representative in the North of England, transferring to Automatics Division in the same area, and then moving to a senior Automatics sales role in Scotland.
David is looking forward to the new challenge. “My main priority is to ensure that everything we do in the Region is totally customer focused and I will be implementing some operational changes with that very much in mind. For example, the way we communicate internally will be completely restructured and response times improved. I am a firm believer in the principle that if our own team is working effectively and efficiently , then the customers will enjoy the experience of working with DORMA as well”.
The Falkirk office has overall responsibility for Service and Automatics in the Region, but it also has the capability to provide support for all DORMA UK Ltd Divisions.
