Morrison has been awarded a 10-year housing repairs and maintenance contract by Family Mosaic, worth £190m.

The Anglia Water Group subsidiary joins Mears and Enterprise in winning places on the housing association's frameworks.

The contract, which has a 12 year extension option, will commence in August 2010.

It comprises cyclical maintenance works, including external and internal redecoration of communal areas, electrical and fire proofing works, and window and roof repairs or replacement to Family Mosaic’s 18,000 homes across 25 London Boroughs.

Guy Wakeley, chief executive, Morrison said: “To date, this is our biggest deal this year and brings the total value of our business wins since January to over £380m; with a potential worth in excess of £816m subject to contract extensions. This has resulted in Morrison already surpassing its 2009 full order intake of £292million."

Morrison will now work with Family Mosaic to mobilise the contract in preparation for its commencement in August.
