Shepherd Construction's M&E subsidiary SES has secured an £11m contract to install building services at the new, fivestorey, 17,000m², Holland Park School in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London.
During the 42-month programme, SES will work closely with principal contractor, Shepherd Construction, and will be responsible for installing all air conditioning units, heating, power, lighting, building management controls, fire alarms, security and sprinklers to the new school.
The £58m construction project will be built over three phases: enabling and demolition work will be completed by September 2010; the new school will be constructed and open for the school return in August 2012 and the final phase, which includes an underground car park, demolition of the existing school buildings and the construction of new external sports pitches will be completed by April 2013.
