Following the racing 1980's chart hero's Paul Young, Midge Ure, Kim Wilde & Belinda Carlisle lead a nostalgic line up, with performances from Curiosity Killed the Cat and Kid Creole and the Coconuts! Despite the Rain Showers, over 10,000 can to see them play. It was fair to say everyone enjoyed classics such as 'Vienna', 'Dancing with Tears in my Eyes' (Midge Ure), 'Everytime You Go Away' and 'Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)' (Paul Young), 'Circles in the Sand' and 'Heaven is a Place on Earth' (Belinda Carlisle), 'Kids in America' and 'You Keep Me Hanging On' (Kim Wilde). For all those eighties teens among us saw fond memories come flooding back when Curiosity Killed the Cat strikes the first note of 'Straight Back Down to Earth' and the words of Kid Creole's memorable chorus of 'Annie I'm Not Your Daddy' echoes around Doncaster Racecourse!
