Customers from The Construction Index came together on Saturday to enjoy Aston Villa’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea.
Chelsea was gifted the lead, through a rather fortuitous strike from Didier Drogba although Richard Dunne levelled the score shortly afterwards. With the game evenly poised at 1-1, Aston Villa Defender James Collins rose highest in the second half from a corner, to hand Aston Villa a valuable three points, moving them to 6 in the Premiership.
The goal was not only the turning point in the match, but it was also James Collins first goal in some three years, a statistic he was glad to have put to behind him.
Our thanks to Replas Concrete Repair & Restoration for their kind sponsorship of the match day meals.
